Abstract

This article aimed to provide an overview of the effects of using Google Classroom as an intermediary tool teaching student in writing skills. Based on research conducted by researchers, what is more emphasized is the effect of motivation and also Self-confidence in developing students' interest in learning. The data shown obtained high enough results. Most of the students responded that the importance of motivation and self-confidence to provide them with learning opportunities and their interest in learning. Writing is one of the skills in learning English. According to (Yi, 2009), Writing ability has importance point that is to foster and enhance interactions and transactions and learning opportunities abroad. With this, to make students more confident and enthusiastic about learning, teachers must consider how to give students motivation and self-confidence so that students are more eager to express ideas and are also interested in learning. With the motivation, students' ideas will emerge and also, they will not hesitate to express their ideas in the process of making good writing. In addition, self-confidence also has an important role in increasing students' interest in learning. Self-confidence has an important role to foster student confidence to follow the learning process and also capture material provided by the teacher. The Design will use quantitative research with descriptive and correlational techniques of data analysis (Hinkel, et al., 1979; Gall, et al., 2007). This method is very effective for conducting research.
